Meadow Wilds is a farm and floral design studio based in New York’s Hudson Valley and founded by designer, educator, and mother Rebekah Mindel. After a formal apprenticeship with flowers & herbs at Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture, Rebekah started Meadow Wilds by making dried arrangements and wreaths from flowers she she grew, dried and foraged.

Since she was little Rebekah has been drawn to flowers. She is inspired endlessly by the beauty, wildness, and strength that flowers emanate. Calling upon childhood memories on the beaches of Cape Cod or long rides on horseback collecting wildflowers out West, she began to nurture a unique style that reflects the richness of her lived experience and deep love of nature. Rebekah continues to bring her most poignant experiences of nature to life through her floral design work with Meadow Wilds.

It is this sensitivity, this reverence for the moment and all the emotions which encompass it, that makes Meadow Wilds and its floral design unique. Just as each flower is special, so is each moment they accompany and adorn. Our design process seeks to identify the meaning and emotion present behind ritual and between every adoring couple and to capture that special feeling in flowers.

Meadow Wild’s arrangements are crafted with humility and intention; each arrangement is the most authentic expression of love, gratitude, celebration, and life.

Our Manifesto

Flowers are both our muse and our medium – their beauty helps us express a feeling or dignify a journey. Flowers anchor us in a moment, add color to our memories, and mark the occasions that define our lives.

The Meadow Wilds process is collaborative and visionary. We design with an artist’s eye, pulling inspiration from the natural world, sensory experiences, all of earth’s fine details, and of course, love.

Foraged or cultivated, flowers are precious, and short-lived. We work with our materials intentionally and holistically, from caring for the land on which they grow to curating arrangements that bring the beauty of nature into ceremony.

The result of our work is something elemental and memorable—a thoughtful exchange between color and composition made to suit the recipient, the setting, the occasion—or just to satisfy a simple whim.
