Floral Design

What led us to start designing was a yearning to play with flowers & foliage (herbals, grass, wild flowers, branches, brambles & berries) as a way to be grounded in the moment. Using seasonality color, textures to influence the design. We pay attention to nature’s flow of offerings by selecting beauty where there is abundance and pairing it with other materials to create natural elegance and timelessness in our floral design work.

  • It all happens with vision. When we begin the process of working together we start with listening to what matters most to you both. We weave together the threads of your love story through floral design. We work to bring about the unique quality of the two of you coming together. So much to celebrate!

  • Dream about the environment surrounding you and your dearest love for your marriage ceremony. What will the flowers emanate and express about your love & how will they hold you both? We design with gentleness in our hands, a thoughtful quality and softness. We yearn to express the uniqueness of the two of you, newly together for you both, your loved ones and for the generations, those who came before you and those who will come after.

  • Designing the tablescape, an ever evolving art form. From an intimate dinner party feel to adorning guest tables with textured linens and candlelight, we love to dream up designs for your florals, candles, vessels, linens and other decor elements.

Thank you so much for everything. You absolutely crushed it. Couldn’t have been more perfect. I didn’t expect to have such an attachment to my bouquet but it was so beautiful and captured our vision in one small perfect bundle.

Weddings in October bring that warm golden light like no other season. Warmth and beauty for these two ~ loved how we paired the light blue of the runner with the peaches and apricots of the florals. Anna Duncan was a dream to work with. I got to partake in a few of the photos with the Larkspur on the plate as we were gasping about the sunlight in our brief moment together on the wedding day. And fruit, when it doubt invite fruit styling as part of your tables cape design. It brings so much to the design. xx R

The soft touches of this Catskills wedding touches on all things related to beauty. Silk and Willow’s woven styling clothes helped set the tonne for the blue and white color theme.. The navy blue color comes through in the bridal party attire and the floral design complemented the couple’s style so fittingly. A simple boutonniere paves the way in beauty and design.
